Quite often as OTs we see children and young people where we have thought it would have been very useful for us to have an OT ( occupational therapy)and SALT (speech and language therapy) at the same assessment- as one area of challenge can impact the other. Therefore we now offer a joint assessment including both. The OT and SALT work together sharing thoughts and produce a single report. 

This also means the child doesn't have to attend multiple assessments.
